Showy Evening Primrose (Oenethera speciosa) is a very beautiful native flower to the Americas.
Lemony fragrant with gorgeous tri-color flowers (pink, yellow, lilac and white), evening primrose is popular for its oil that is known to be used for medicinal reasons.
Plants will grow to 18"-24" and be deer resistant.
As the name suggests, flowers will open in the evening. Considered a biennial, this flower will bloom in its second season, and will readily reseed itself.
