Excellent for ornamental garden use, their large flower heads and tall stems are suited for creating backyard screens or seasonal cut flower arrangements.
Grows well across much of the United States, including USDA Hardiness Zones 3 through 9, covering a broad range from cooler to warmer climates.
Sow seeds directly in a full sun location after the last spring frost. Plant seeds about 1 inch deep and space them approximately 18 to 24 inches apart.
Keep soil moist during germination and seedling establishment; plants develop some drought tolerance once mature. Provide regular watering throughout the growing season.
