Beautiful – Large premium packet of Purple Tomatillo (Physalis ixocarpa) seeds. Easy to grow, tomatillo plant that produces high yields of flavorful deep purple tomatillos throughout the season. Purple tomatillos add lovely color and zip to salsas, sauces, and other dishes. Minimum of 100 mg per packet (about 65 seeds).
Productive – Tomatillo germinates in 5-10 days when soil temps are 70-80°F. Plant 1/4” deep and space about 2’ apart in an area with full sun. This variety will grow 18-36” tall with a spread of 18-24”. Fruits will mature in 75-100 days, plant in USDA zones 4-11.
Good Eats – The sweet fruity flavor of this unique tomatillo is highly prized in Mexican cooking. These tasty little fruits are the base for salsa verde or chili verde. Rich in antioxidants.
