Beautiful – Hickory King (Zea mays) is an heirloom field corn producing tall, 8-12' stalks and long cobs with flat, slightly dented kernels with skin that is easy to remove by soaking. This versatile corn has excellent flavor and is used for roasting or processing into cornmeal, flour, grits, and hominy. Minimum of 18g per packet (about 40 seeds).
Productive – Hickory King White Corn germinates in 7-14 days when soil temps are 65-75°F. Plant 1” deep and space 8-12” apart in an area with full sun. This variety will grow 8-12’ tall with a spread of 6-8”. Ears will mature in 90-110 days, plant in USDA zones 2-10.
