About This

Beautiful - Large full-color packets of Champion Radish (Raphanus sativus) seeds. A fast growing cherry belle type radish that's resistant to cold. Champion is a round radish with vibrant red skin and white flesh. Grows up to 2" without becoming pithy. AAS winner. Minimum of 3 g per packet (about 400 seeds).
Productive - Radish germinates in 6-10 days when soil temps are 55-75°F. Plant 1/4” deep and space 3-4” apart in an area with full sun. This variety will grow 4-5” tall with a spread of 4-5”. Radishes will mature in 25-30 days, plant in USDA zones 3-12.
Fun and Tasty - With as few as 25 days from sowing to harvest, this vegetable is a great choice for children to plant and grow. Can also be grown as a fall crop or indoors if given sufficient light. The spicy flavor of radishes adds a welcome kick to salads and salsas. Sauteed or roasted, the radish flavor is significantly more mellow. Radishes, especially daikon, make a good cover crop to protect and aerate your soil.
